The owner of Volksignia is City & Guilds qualified in SIGNWORK, achieving CREDIT passes in both the practical & theory aspects of traditional and modern sign making, serving a three apprenticeship with a small Southampton based sign shop, then working at that same business for over thirteen years, achieving the title of workshop manager until moving on to a larger sign group in 2001 & rising to production supervisor leaving there in 2004 to 'take stock of things' and eventually starting volksignia.co.uk in the autumn of 2005.

From traditional sign written signs to the birth of modern cut vinyl graphics & digital printing, we have seen the sign world change over the last 2 decades.
